The primary objective of the project is to improve the communication and leadership skills of youth workers, enabling them to effectively support young people in overcoming social isolation and building self-confidence. By providing youth workers with innovative tools and methods, we aim to empower them to help young people express themselves more effectively, develop stronger interpersonal connections, and actively engage in their communities. This project addresses critical issues identified during the TicTac Training Course in Vienna, where participants noted a significant lack of communication skills among youth and insufficient competencies among youth workers. The increasing social isolation faced by young people, exacerbated by the impact of digitalization and the aftermath of the pandemic, necessitates targeted interventions to foster engagement and connection. Our project seeks to fill this gap through a structured Youth Workers' Mobility program that includes study visits and training courses, leveraging theatrical methods for experiential learning. Key objectives of our project include: 1. Strengthening communication skills by providing youth workers with tailored training to improve their communication abilities, enabling them to connect better with young people. 2. Introducing of practical methods, since equipping youth workers with effective strategies will address contemporary communication challenges faced by youth. 3. Improving the ability of youth workers to manage diverse groups and engage in culturally sensitive communication practices. 4. Facilitating structured learning opportunities. 5. Encouraging collaboration by building a network of youth workers to foster future collaborations and support shared initiatives. 6. Inspiring follow-up projects. Through these objectives, we aim to create a more socially engaged, confident, and resilient generation of young people. Our project aligns with the needs of participating organizations by addressing the challenges they face in engaging rural youth and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
