Objectives

This project seeks to integrate tools and knowledge developed in sustainable communities and disciplines such as sociology, group psychology, ecology and systems theory to improve group facilitation. Sustainable communities have perfected tools that facilitate collaboration and teamwork, integrating outcomes, processes and relationships. These tools are fundamental to managing collective projects and improving interaction between people.Group life has multiple benefits, but can also generate discomfort due to the social isolation that prevails today. It has become crucial to develop skills that strengthen social cohesion and well-being to face current challenges. We consider group facilitation knowledge, techniques and tools to be highly valuable for youth workers to implement in youth groups, supporting them in creating collaborative projects focused on sustainability, democratic participation and social entrepreneurship. The project responds to the growing anxiety among young people caused by global instability, providing them with tools to transform their concern into action. Youth workers will be trained in group facilitation and collaborative project creation, addressing issues of sustainability, democratic participation and social entrepreneurship. In the long term, the aim is to empower young people to create inclusive collaborative spaces and contribute to a more regenerative and equitable society. The main objectives of the project are: _To empower youth workers with group facilitation skills and support collaborative projects; _To equip youth workers with skills, knowledge and strategies to work with young people on sustainability, democratic participation and social entrepreneurship; _To increase collaboration between sustainable communities and youth organisations.
