The training course is based on the need to promote greater participation of young people in European democratic life, enabling them to make their voices heard through new and more effective advocacy tools that will foster greater engagement, creativity, critical sense, and active participation. When we talk about young people, we refer to a very heterogeneous social group with a wide diversity of identity, socio-economic and educational backgrounds, and living conditions. This target group faces significant socio-economic barriers, which have been highlighted above. It needs new methodologies and working techniques that are effective in bringing out their stories and making their voices louder. As mentioned above, the main goal of “FrameUp!” is to promote creativity, inclusion, and innovation through the active involvement of youth and youth workers in the creative process by developing new working techniques and methodologies. We want to encourage participants to explore visual storytelling to develop their communication skills, critical thinking, self-confidence, and sense of initiative while expanding their cultural knowledge through a broad European partnership. The project also aims to overcome cultural and language barriers by promoting mutual understanding among young people through photography. In this way, they will be able to capture stories that can inspire others and contribute positively to change. The needs and objectives identified are as follows: -Discovering photography not only as an art form but also as a tool for personal expression; -Learn the basic principles of photography; -Understand what visual communication is and how it works; -Learning to implement new digital skills and tools in youth work; -Promote greater youth participation in civic and democratic life; -Adopt a more attractive, digitized, and innovative approach to working with youth; -Develop mechanisms for dialogue with young people and facilitate their participation; -Improving soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
