Objectives

Through the implementation of the project, we have provided youth workers with self-discovery and self-empowerment tools (resources/techniques) designed specifically for them. The program we implemented has offered them an inner journey aimed at: - Unlocking their abilities. - Overcoming fears. - Questioning and reframing (beyond "challenging") irrational and cognitive beliefs. - Enhancing the self-empowerment of each participant. - Providing the tools and skills necessary to strengthen their resilience and self-care, which will significantly contribute to their personal and professional development. The project objectives were: - Strengthening Competencies: Provide innovative approaches so that youth workers can support the emotional and mental well-being of young people at risk of exclusion. - Fostering Resilience: Use the "hero's journey" metaphor to help participants develop emotional resilience and skills to cope with adversity. - Crisis Management Tools: Equip youth workers with methods for handling difficult situations, such as Transactional Analysis and empathic communication. - Improve the Quality of Youth Work: Facilitate reflection on the role of youth workers, improving their ability to emotionally support young people. - Strengthen International Cooperation: Promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences among youth workers internationally. - Promote Non-Formal Education Methods: Improve and disseminate non-formal education methods, ensuring their recognition and application. The program focused on the "hero's journey" metaphor, guiding participants through the four stages of self-discovery. This approach strengthened emotional resilience and self-awareness, helping participants face and overcome challenges.
