Llengües Joves / Linguas Novas is a project that will bring together young theatre practitioners from the FOCO (A Guarda, Galicia) and the Escola de Teatre de La Seu d'Urgell (La Seu d'Urgell, Catalonia) through a variety of activities, including rehearsals and the creation of performances in Galician and Catalan. This will also involve meetings between theatre schools, encounters with local political and social leaders, and the creation and participation in the inaugural Festival of Theatre of Minority Languages in La Seu d'Urgell. All of these efforts aim to promote the use of regional languages in leisure and cultural programmes for young people, increase youth participation in cultural and social activities, and facilitate interactions between young people and local administrations for the implementation of actions aimed at protecting regional languages.
