The aim of the project is to promote intercultural understanding and dialogue among young people through music and food. Additionally, the project supports the development of self-expression and emotional skills, enhancing participants' self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Using music and food as tools for self-expression creates a safe environment for emotional processing. Language skills and international communication are a key focus of the project, as participants improve their English proficiency and gain confidence in using a foreign language in practical situations. In addition to language development, one of the youth main goals is to build friendships and networks across cultural boundaries, strengthening their international connections. The project also enhances youth participation and active engagement by giving them responsibility in planning and implementing the project, supporting their personal growth. We are committed to strongly involving young people in all phases of the project, from planning to assigning responsibilities in organizing workshops and communications. A previous participating youth exchange in Poland provided valuable experiences for some group members, and this project continues their learning journey with the themes of music and food. From a youth work perspective, youth exchanges play a significant role in supporting young people's engagement and personal growth. Our project provides a safe environment where young people can learn from each other, express themselves, and develop their social skills, empathy, and cultural understanding. For first-time participants, the project offers a valuable opportunity for international cooperation and discovering their own potential.
