The youth exchange project "From the ECSC to the Green Deal" aimed to provide participants with a better understanding of European integration, from the creation of the ECSC to the development of the European Green Deal. This new project, focused on "peace, past and future, and the construction of Europe," pursues similar objectives: - To promote a deep understanding of European integration, highlighting key stages, from the initial peace efforts to contemporary developments. - To encourage young people to develop critical thinking by examining history, current events, and the different phases of European integration through the lens of peace, past and future. - To foster increased engagement in the preservation of peace and an active role in building a united Europe by acquiring new knowledge and practices. - The challenges of this project are manifold, just like in the previous environmental context. Today, the world faces various challenges related to the preservation of peace, understanding the past, and building a harmonious future in Europe. This project aims to guide participants in understanding the historical evolution of the European Union while encouraging them to reflect on crucial issues related to peace and the future of Europe. Through activities, discussions, and exchanges, the project seeks to raise participants' awareness of the importance of peace, to learn lessons from the past, and to play an active role in building a peaceful and united future in Europe.
