Agriculture is an essential sector for sustainable development, but it is still marked by strong gender inequalities. In Europe, although women make up a significant proportion of the agricultural workforce, they are often under-represented in positions of responsibility and face greater difficulties in accessing resources such as land, finance and training. In a rural department like Lozère, these challenges are particularly visible. This project aims to contribute to greater recognition of the role of women in agriculture and to promote gender equality in this sector. General objective: To promote gender equality in the agricultural sector through awareness-raising, education and intercultural exchanges. Specific objectives : - Raise awareness among young people and rural stakeholders of the challenges faced by women in agriculture. - Promote the role of women on farms through testimonials, workshops and local events. - Encourage exchanges of experience between women farmers from different European countries. - Strengthen the skills of participants (women and young people) on subjects such as agro-ecology, agricultural entrepreneurship and gender equality.
