Objectives

The CoCoop project aims to help support a generation of young people who are prepared to take on current and future challenges, capable of working together in an inclusive manner, while being aware of their role in society and confident in their ability to make a real impact. Through participatory and immersive teaching methods, CoCoop aims to enable each young participant to leave feeling empowered, equipped, and supported to take action on both a personal and collective level. By promoting a culture of healthy and deep cooperation, with oneself and with others, CoCoop enables the following objectives to be achieved: Personal and professional empowerment: young people will be supported in finding their own path, identifying and developing certain skills, discovering new areas of interest, and engaging in meaningful projects. We want to support them in defining a life path that is aligned with their values and current societal issues, thanks to keys that will serve them in their committed lives and professional careers. Multicultural exchanges will enable a deep awareness of the diversity and uniqueness of each individual. A learning approach tailored to a cooperative dynamic: we want to support young people in managing collective and cooperative projects by teaching them practical tools for working effectively and healthily in a team, navigating collective decision-making, and managing group dynamics. The idea is to help young people evolve from “I” to “We” by strengthening their ability to cooperate within diverse groups. Discovering ways to actively participate in society: by developing their critical thinking, their ability to express themselves and take action, and by raising their awareness of major environmental and social issues, sharing the uniqueness of their European reality, we want to train European citizens who are engaged and aware of their power to take action. Young people will thus be better prepared to initiate and support sustainable projects within their communities. A strong and sustainable network: by integrating young people into an active community at the end of the program, we want to encourage exchanges, ongoing collaboration, and offer long-term support for the development of their personal and collective projects. From a youth work perspective, we aim to integrate these young people into an environment that promotes not only their personal and professional development, but also their ability to contribute to sustainable social change. This project will disseminate innovative and inclusive practices that meet the expectations of younger generations and the needs of society. By actively involving young people in the design and implementation of concrete projects, they will also strengthen their sense of competence and belonging to a wider community.
