Objectives

The global ecological crisis demands urgent action. Despite expert warnings, climate change remains a significant challenge due to a lack of international solutions. Young people are leading the charge, mobilizing through movements like "Fridays for Future." Their innovative solutions offer hope for a sustainable future. Le Créneau aims to contribute by focusing on climate issues and promoting environmental practices. We believe in the power of social media for youth to spread awareness and inspire change. With the hel of non-formal education tools we intend to walk together with European teenagers towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Program Objectives: For European teenagers, this project is an opportunity to: -Think differently about environmental issues and discuss the Sustainable Development Goals. -Discuss about the impact and risks of social media nowadays, but also to identify its main strengths and how to use them efficiently. -Exchange measures taken by participants' country, discuss its effectiveness and compare them with peers. -Create and disseminate short videos to sensitize the public for the adoption of an eco-responsible lifestyle. -Develop digital skills, such as video edition. -Create a place for meeting and exchange by allowing these young Europeans from different nationalities to live a shared experience focused on discovering the other, with the ambition of overcoming sociocultural differences and building a common project of life, reflection, and creation. -Develop awareness and appropriate eco-citizen values, solidarity, and mutual aid through collective action and doing things together. Participants will be able to try out various workshops whose main educational objective is to acquire knowledge through active learning and experimentation. For Le Créneau: -To be part of our time and do our part, setting an example and teaching others, improving our impact. -To improve the local anchoring of our association. -To fuel reflection on rewriting our association's project in which we wish to highlight environmental issues transversally. The youth exchange will be an excellent basis for confirming our desire for ecological transition. -To strengthen ties with local partners (associations, elected officials, community centers).
