Objectives

This project aimed to train youth workers in digital tools so that they could upgrade their skills and learn how to use these tools to help improve the employability of the young people they support. The project therefore addressed several issues relating to youth employability -jobs that are recruiting in Europe -workshops on personal branding and artificial intelligence -the use of tools and networks to find work, such as LinkedIn, job boards and Indeed -a visit to two Estonian companies that have used digital technology to break into the market: Wise and Bolt. This exchange also brought together eight nationalities: France, Germany, Estonia, Albania, Spain, Georgia, Morocco and Algeria. The presence of these eight very different nationalities created a wonderful intercultural exchange, with four partner countries and four European Union countries, countries from the south and countries from further north, all with very different cultures. The aim was also for each nationality to bring added value to the project, whether in terms of technology (digital tools, workshops) or the format of the project (language activities, energisers, etc.). This project was intended to equip youth workers with digital tools to help young people's employability and introduce them to digital professions that are recruiting, as this subject is booming worldwide. How can we adapt and readjust young people's career goals to fit the new market that is emerging with the explosion of artificial intelligence? One of the objectives was also to equip youth workers with the knowledge to understand the risks that could be associated with AI. We also wanted to promote Erasmus programmes to youth workers so that they could then promote them to young people, involving youth workers who were unfamiliar with these programmes. One of the objectives was also to create a means of disseminating information about these digital tools. We also wanted this project to be inclusive by allowing participants with fewer opportunities to take part.
