Objectives

Safenet Youth aims to contribute to the development of digital skills and media literacy among young EU citizens, by strengthening their ability to deal with digital dangers. Thanks to a consortium of 4 European partners (French, Estonian, Spanish and German), young people aged between 15 and 17 will carry out activities at local and transnational level to train and raise awareness of the risks associated with new technologies and the proper use of the media. In this way, young people will become agents of change, capable of protecting themselves and educating their peers. By bringing together participants from different countries, the project will create a European network of young people aware of digital issues, cybersecurity and data protection. In addition, this collaboration will facilitate the emergence of a collective voice, strengthening young people's ability to influence public policy.
