The idea behind this project was to bring together 28 participants to explore environmental issues at local and European level. The format enabled the young people actively involved to create nine workshops and one event to reach out to young people who are not usually involved in such activities and to raise awareness of environmental issues. This commitment to others was accompanied by seven training sessions, visits and meetings to develop green skills within the group. The shift in scale from local to European level enabled the development of civic skills and initiated dialogue with European institutions (the Parliament). The common thread running through 2025 was a green one. Indeed, it was the participants' desire to engage with environmental issues. The name of the project, ‘Fil Vert, Feel Green’, reflects the young people's desire to take environmental issues into account for the future.
