Objectives

The primary goal of our project, "Train Brain", is to empower and raise cognitive and personal development of our participants through a holistic approach. Our specific objectives, from the perspective of youth work practice, are: strengthening concentration and focus, promoting active listening, increasing memory, developing multitasking skills, fostering creativity, expression through art, learning from mistakes, mental coordination, promoting sustainability awareness, study visit and sharing knowledge. First, we aim to equip our participants with effective techniques and strategies to improve their concentration and focus. By engaging in various neuro-exercises and mindfulness activities, they will develop the ability to concentrate on tasks, ultimately strengthening their productivity and performance, both in their personal lives and at work or school. Second, since active listening is a valuable skill in effective communication, through our project, participants will learn how to listen which will enable them to better understand and connect with others. This skill will facilitate improved interpersonal relationships and empathy. Third, we intend to boost the memory capabilities of our participants through memory-enhancing exercises and techniques. This skill will aid them in retaining information and recalling it when needed, contributing to their academic and professional success. Next, in this modern and rapidly changing world, the ability to cope with multiple tasks is crucial. Therefore, our project will equip participants with the skills and techniques necessary to effectively handle several responsibilities at once, in other words multitask, ultimately increasing their productivity in different areas such as work and education. What could also help them in future education is creativity, a valuable asset in personal and professional growth. Participants will engage in creative activities to boost their self-esteem, self-confidence, leadership skills, and appreciation for diversity. They will learn to think outside the box and approach challenges with innovative solutions. Creativity and art can also be a powerful mean of self-expression and relaxation. Through artistic activities, participants will learn to express themselves non-verbally and find a constructive outlet for their emotions and thoughts. In addition, we want teach our participants to embrace their mistakes as opportunities for growth. They will explore how to analyse their missteps, learn valuable lessons from them, and apply this knowledge to achieve their goals effectively. Furthermore, to process information quickly and effectively through our brain we need to exercise mental coordination. Our participants will engage in activities that build their cognitive coordination, resulting in improved decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Another very important goal of this project is to promote an understanding of environmental sustainability and a develop sense of responsibility towards the planet. Throughout the project, we will incorporate eco-friendly practices and discussions on environmental issues. Participants will learn how their individual actions can contribute to a more sustainable world, and they will be encouraged to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. Also, we will organize a study visit to a school that employs the abacus method which will provide participants with practical insights into the effectiveness of neuro-exercises and cognitive development techniques. This real-life example will serve as tangible proof of the benefits of these practices. Beyond personal growth, we aim to install in our participants a sense of responsibility to share what they have learned with others. They will become ambassadors of the skills and techniques they acquire, promoting a culture of continuous learning and self-improvement. To sum up, our project, "Train Brain", is designed to empower young individuals with a diverse set of skills, including improved concentration, memory, creativity, and leadership abilities. These objectives aim to equip them with valuable life skills that will serve them well in their personal, academic, and professional journeys. We are also very committed to promoting sustainability awareness as part of our project. By adding this sustainability objective, we not only develop the personal growth and cognitive skills of our participants, but also empower them to become environmentally conscious individuals who actively contribute to a more sustainable future. Through "Train Brain" we seek to foster holistic development and responsible citizenship among our young participants.
