The main objective of the project was to improve and expand the quality of youth programs in the Virovitica Public Library and other libraries in the Virovitica-Podravina County, through the development of the competencies of library staff working with young people, in the area of strengthening language and reading literacy and strengthening communication skills among young people. Other objectives of the project were: developing the competencies of library staff working with young people in the areas of reading, creative writing and debating among young people; educating library staff working with young people to increase the self-confidence of young people, which also includes expressing their own opinions and ideas; involving library staff in all areas of the Virovitica-Podravina County in order to ensure equal opportunities for all young people.
