The aim of this project is to strengthen youth civic engagement through learning about how institutions function, personal financial literacy, and dialogue with employer representatives for the purpose of employment. Through active participation, we guided young people toward understanding processes within institutions, encouraged them to propose changes, and in this way directly influenced processes that concern them. Furthermore, this helped young people gain self-confidence and adopt a broader understanding of overall operations. The acquired competencies, together with financial literacy and tools for presenting themselves more effectively to employers, were applied through simulated job interviews. Through the project, we developed a model that young people will be able to use in the long term to propose changes. Another objective of the project was to foster independence among young people and empower them to enter the labour market. Additionally, we established the foundations for a special/elective program that will begin in the next school year, in which young people will participate in implementing activities in order to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaboratively create new initiatives with their peers.
