Through the implementation of our project, we aimed to promote mental well-being among youth workers and young people by raising awareness about the role of hobbies and creative activities in reducing depression. Our primary objective was to strengthen the capacities of youth workers so that they could better understand, address, and prevent depression within their communities. We sought to create an environment that encouraged the exchange of experiences, expertise, and best practices among youth workers from different countries. By doing so, we aimed to enhance cooperation, mutual learning, and the development of innovative approaches to mental health and social inclusion. Specifically, our project aimed to: Promote the acceptance and integration of art therapy and hobby-based methods as effective tools to combat depression; Support youth workers in coping with personal and social challenges, thereby improving their emotional resilience and professional competence; Address and analyze the root causes of depression in different national contexts, contributing to its reduction through awareness and prevention activities; Educate youth workers and local communities about the importance of mental health and foster supportive attitudes towards those experiencing depression; Strengthen national and international dialogue on mental health, encouraging collaboration across sectors and borders; Motivate individuals to engage in hobbies and creative practices that help maintain mental balance and personal fulfillment; Support the personal and professional development of youth workers by helping them discover their talents, increase their self-confidence, and gain new skills; Promote active citizenship, volunteering, and responsible engagement with social challenges; Encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, by providing them with supportive environments and new perspectives; Increase the visibility and recognition of the Erasmus+ Programme and highlight its impact on youth work and community well-being. Overall, the project aimed to create a lasting positive impact on both youth workers and their target groups by combining mental health awareness, skill development, and intercultural learning.
