By implementing this project, we aim to significantly enhance the digital skills of youth workers and their ability to utilize digital resources, such as simulation software, in sustainability education. Our primary objectives are to improve participants' competencies in effectively using various digital tools for climate and sustainability training, including tools like the En-Roads climate simulator. We will focus on equipping youth workers with innovative digital methodologies that can help engage young people more effectively in sustainability initiatives. By fostering a strong understanding of how to integrate these digital resources into their educational practices, we aspire to empower youth workers to create dynamic and impactful learning experiences for the youth they serve. Additionally, the project aims to raise awareness of climate anxiety and develop a supportive network among youth workers, especially those from remote areas and underrepresented communities. Through training sessions and the sharing of best practices, we intend to cultivate active citizenship and drive meaningful change in local contexts, ensuring a lasting impact on youth work practices by leveraging digital tools to address pressing environmental challenges.
