The overarching goal of the project was to address a critical need for enhanced Global Citizenship Education (GCE) training within the youth work sector. By implementing a 6-day training course, the project intended to achieve this by providing youth workers and educators with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to deliver effective GCE programs to young people. The ultimate aim was to invest in the professional development of youth workers so they could, in turn, inspire and empower young people to become active and engaged global citizens. Project Objectives The project set out four specific objectives for the training course: 1 - To equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of GCE concepts, frameworks, and its relevance to youth work. 2 - To develop participants' capacity to design and implement effective non-formal GCE activities and programs for young people. 3 - To strengthen participants' facilitation skills to create inclusive and participatory learning environments. 4 - To build a network of GCE practitioners to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.
