It will involve youth organizations and public body coming from Italy, Spain, Greece, Malta, Estonia and Poland, with purpose to strength the sense of belonging to Europe and the multicultural dialogue. The project will be held in Fiumedinisi (Italy) from 3 to 8 july 2025. The Project SmArtSolutIons represents an opportunity for young participants to explore and deepen the challenges, potential and risks related to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the smart and innovative solutions to adapt to everyday life that can contribute to improving society. The project is configured as an opportunity to develop technological, creative and critical skills in participants, and to deepen issues related to Digital Education through an active comparison of the various national case studies and the measures adopted to exploit and regulate this new technological tool. The general objectives of our project, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2021-2027, can be summarised as follows: - Educating young people on a responsible use of new technologies, balancing interaction with artificial intelligence and real human experiences, is of crucial importance to ensure that these technologies contribute positively to their development and overall well-being. - Promoting a conscious, safe and appropriate use of the potential and tools offered by new technologies to increase skills, seize opportunities and train the digital citizens of tomorrow. - Promoting a culture of responsible use of digital forms of communication, inviting participants to rediscover the value of “real” and traditional communication. - Disseminating and exchanging good practices to help young people increase their sense of well-being, prevent antisocial behaviour and reduce discrimination and phenomena of exclusion and marginalization. - Stimulating a balanced, conscious and responsible use of artificial intelligence by young people. - Raise awareness among young people about the healthy use of technology, with the aim of developing a full awareness of the risks and opportunities that these tools offer. - Through the methodologies implemented in the program, we intend to encourage non-formal education for social skills by trying to educate young people by improving their social and interpersonal skills. Our goal is to explore non-formal techniques that promote inclusion, non-discrimination, mutual respect and empathy, to achieve quality non-formal education. - Improve cooperation and intercultural understanding in order to facilitate cooperation between participants from different ethnic backgrounds, promoting attitudes of solidarity and mutual respect. Our goal is to encourage dialogue and intercultural learning. This will be achieved with full respect for the uses and customs of others, promoting mutual respect, collaboration and the elimination of stereotypes and prejudices. - Develop and improve the personal, social and civic skills of young people. Our aim is to stimulate critical thinking, foster creativity, improve tolerance and cultivate empathy, all with the aim of forming active and supportive European citizens. - Promote European youth mobility, recognising them as sources of intercultural learning and empowerment, especially for young people with fewer opportunities. - The project aims to promote mutual understanding and respect between people from different cultural backgrounds, provides a platform where participants can engage in discussions, share perspectives and learn from each other's experiences, thus promoting understanding, inclusion, respect for diversity by ensuring a level playing field between all participants and intercultural empathy.
