The project “Imagine” was born with the aim of guiding young people to increase intercultural inclusion in their local communities with the support of visual arts. The objectives of the project are the following: -To organize an intercultural meeting of 25 participants (20 young people and 5 group leaders) from 5 countries (Italy, Spain, Turkey, North Macedonia, Jordan) for an 8-day intercultural exchange activity, where participants will explore and exchange methods and tools to promote intercultural inclusion in their communities. -To facilitate the exchange of good practices between the 5 partner organizations: SPOTLIGHT CENTRE (Spain), Sunflower Youth and Education Association (Turkey), Youth Feeders (Jordan), Center for Intercultural Dialogue (North Macedonia), Estacion Esperanza Youth Association (Italy). These organisations will work together to support young people in exploring and promoting multiculturalism in their local areas and realise a toolkit of non-formal activities to be proposed to youth workers internationally to facilitate the intercultural integration of young people in local and online communities with visual arts as supporting nonformal methodology. -To organise an intercultural event in each local community of the partners, involving at least 14 young people, half of them from local cultural backgrounds and half from intercultural backgrounds, in each local community. During these events, participants will present the artworks created during the project, raising awareness in the community on the importance of intercultural inclusion. -To disseminate a video showing the artworks produced during the project, disseminating it internationally to promote intercultural inclusion and raise awareness among a wider audience.
