The project Empowering Europe: Citizenship in Action, held in Ortelle from 19 to 27 May 2025 with participants from Italy, Romania, and Spain, aimed to address the growing disconnect between young people and the European Union. Led by You Media, the initiative focused on equipping youth with tools to engage more meaningfully in European society. Its key objectives were: To introduce young people to the core values of the EU and help them understand its founding principles. To develop social skills and cooperation through collaborative activities reflecting EU values. To raise awareness of the impact of EU policies on everyday life. To promote civic participation and encourage youth engagement in democratic processes. To broaden knowledge of European topics through intercultural learning. To build lasting connections among young Europeans, fostering continued exchange beyond the project.
