By implementing our project, we aim to achieve a series of significant objectives that directly address young people and their communities, with a particular focus on ecological education, sustainability and social inclusion. The aim is to create a learning environment that not only develops practical skills, but also stimulates greater awareness and responsibility towards the environment and social dynamics. 1. Development of practical skills: Our first objective is to provide participants with practical skills in urban gardening and environmental sustainability. Through a series of interactive workshops and practical activities, young people will learn cultivation techniques, green space management, composting and ecological practices. These practical experiences will not only make them more aware of their environmental impact, but will also provide them with skills that can be used in their daily lives. For example, they will learn to recognize native plants, understand the cycle of the seasons and implement sustainable gardening techniques. 2. Promotion of ecological awareness: A key objective of the project is to increase participants' awareness of environmental issues and sustainability. Through educational activities, discussions and guided reflections, young people will be encouraged to consider their relationship with the environment and develop more sustainable behaviors. This ecological education process includes understanding the importance of biodiversity, water saving techniques, waste reduction and the consequences of pollution. Through direct experiences, such as taking care of a community garden, participants will be able to see first-hand the positive impact of their actions on the environment. 3. Social inclusion and community building: Another key objective is to promote social inclusion. We want the project to become a meeting point for young people from different social, racial and ethnic backgrounds. Through teamwork in creating urban gardens, participants will not only develop meaningful relationships, but will also learn to respect and appreciate cultural differences. This process of inclusion will help build a more cohesive community, where each young person will feel valued and listened to. Collaborative activities, such as community events and volunteer days, will further foster a sense of belonging and responsibility. 4. Development of leadership and autonomy: Our intention is also to develop leadership skills in young people. We will provide them with opportunities to make decisions, solve problems and manage conflicts through practical situations. These moments will not only increase their self-confidence, but will also help promote autonomy and responsibility. Group activities will be structured in such a way as to give each participant an active and significant role, encouraging them to express their ideas and actively contribute to the success of the project. 5. Creation of a network of active young people: We want to encourage participants to continue their commitment even after the end of the project. To this end, we will develop a network of active young people who can share their experiences, resources and ideas. This network will serve as a platform for mutual support and for the promotion of future initiatives related to sustainability and social inclusion. Through networking events, regular meetings and online platforms, participants will have the opportunity to stay connected and continue collaborating on future projects. 6. Continuous monitoring and evaluation: Finally, we intend to implement a monitoring and evaluation system to measure the effectiveness of the project. Through regular feedback, questionnaires and guided reflections, we will be able to assess whether we are achieving our goals and make any adjustments needed to improve the participant experience. Collecting qualitative and quantitative data will be essential, so that we can document the progress and impact of the project on the lives of the young people involved.
