Objectives

The project was designed to secure a brighter future for young people by fostering their interest and equipping them with essential skills necessary for success in rural and remote areas. Through the implementation of this initiative, we aimed to set a positive example for youth across Europe, promoting mental resilience through shared experiences and best practices. Our objectives focused on initiating local change while creating a broader impact that aligned with our goals: Enhancing Youth Interest: We sought to engage young people and inspire them to take an active role in their communities. Developing NEETs’ Soft Skills: The project aimed to improve the soft skills and competencies of NEETs, empowering them for future opportunities. Promoting Entrepreneurship: We provided knowledge and resources related to entrepreneurship tailored specifically for rural and remote contexts. Fostering Mental Resilience: By offering mental support and various strategies, we aimed to enhance young people's resilience in facing challenges. Raising Awareness Among Society and Decision-Makers: We worked to combat indifference toward NEETs and the issues facing rural and remote areas, encouraging active engagement and support. In addition to these primary goals, the project also sought to: Promote Awareness of the War in Ukraine: We aimed to cultivate solidarity and awareness regarding the impact of war and its consequences. Enhance Quality of Life in Rural Areas: By increasing decision-makers' awareness, we strove to improve living conditions in these regions. Encourage Intercultural Exchange: The project facilitated interactions between young people from diverse backgrounds, fostering understanding and collaboration. In terms of youth practice, our project aspired to exemplify effective youth work with NEETs and disseminate our outcomes to stakeholders and the Erasmus+ community. By doing so, we aimed to maximize the project's impact. Furthermore, the project aligned with European Youth Goals #3 (Inclusive Societies) and #6 (Moving Rural Youth Forward). Our efforts contributed to creating a better future for young people from varied backgrounds, promoting the development of rural and remote areas while fostering a more inclusive society for youth with fewer opportunities.
