Objectives

The project “Rhythms of Inclusion” aimed to promote social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and youth empowerment by using dance as a tool for non-formal learning and creative expression. Through its youth exchange, the project sought to bring together young people from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds and create an inclusive environment where they could interact, collaborate, and learn from one another. The project had the following main objectives: 1. To foster social inclusion and community building among young people. The project aimed to create safe and inclusive spaces where participants could connect, express themselves through dance, and build meaningful relationships with peers from different countries and backgrounds, including young people with fewer opportunities. 2. To promote intercultural understanding and appreciation of diversity. By sharing traditional and contemporary dance styles from the participating countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary), the project aimed to encourage intercultural dialogue and strengthen participants’ understanding and respect for cultural diversity. 3. To empower young people and develop key competences. Through dance workshops, group activities, and collaborative performances, the project aimed to strengthen participants’ soft skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity, self-confidence, and leadership. 4. To use non-formal education and creative methods for learning. The project aimed to introduce innovative learning methods combining dance, intercultural learning, and digital tools in order to create engaging and accessible learning experiences for all participants. Overall, the project aimed to empower young people to become more active, confident, and open-minded individuals while strengthening intercultural connections and promoting inclusion through artistic expression.
