Our project aims to create sustainable and positive changes in local communities with the active participation of young people. We aim to equip our participants with knowledge and skills on sustainability and eco-friendly practices, guided by the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and the European Green Deal. Through our "Engage, Connect, and Empower" strategy, we plan to engage young people in social life, connect them with other European youth, and empower them to take action and take responsibility for their surroundings, understanding that they are the architects of their own future. Our objectives extend beyond promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in our communities. We also aim to encourage gender equality, enhance the mental health and well-being of participants, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and reinforce European values in the context of sustainability and green skills. Together with the youth in our communities, we will take tangible steps like planting trees, creating eco-friendly living spaces, and preparing a booklet with simple yet effective sustainable living tips. At the same time, we will facilitate presentations where young people introduce their cities, countries, and environmental protection activities, fostering a culture of learning from one another. The methods we will use include role-playing, outdoor activities, simulations, debates, workshops, peer-to-peer learning, presentations, group evaluations, and self-assessment. We believe these experiences will enhance young people's environmental awareness and green skills, empowering them to lead a more responsible lifestyle, both individually and collectively.
