Objectives

By implementing the project, our main objectives from a youth work practice perspective are: - Promoting intercultural dialogue: the project aims to create a space where young people can explore and appreciate different cultures through exchange and collaboration activities. This will foster deeper mutual understanding, breaking down stereotypes and prejudices and promoting empathy and respect between participants from different cultural backgrounds. - Empowering young people's voice and participation: we want to give young people the tools to be active protagonists of change in their communities. Through activities that encourage the expression of their ideas and involvement in decision-making processes, the project will strengthen their ability to influence issues that directly affect them positively. All participants (both group leaders and young people involved) will be actively engaged in the different phases of designing, organizing and implementing the different activities thanks to scheduled moments of meeting and sharing before, during and after. - Development of personal and social skills: the project will provide concrete opportunities to acquire and enhance essential skills such as communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and conflict management. These skills will be developed through workshops, practical experiences and reflections, to prepare young people to face future challenges. - Raising awareness of human rights and social justice: through discussions, debates and educational activities, the project will sensitize young people on the issues of human rights, social justice and inclusion. This will make them more aware and ready to defend these values in their communities. - Building intercultural skills: immersed in different cultural contexts, participants will reflect on their prejudices, learn to collaborate effectively with people from various backgrounds and have the opportunity to develop skills that will help them successfully navigate multicultural environments. - Education in conflict management: the project will ensure that young people see conflict not as an obstacle, but as an opportunity for growth. They will learn to manage conflicts constructively, recognizing diversity as a resource and not as a threat. The objectives above will be pursued through theater and other forms of artistic expression, among which the world of circus will play a fundamental role. Corporeality and active interaction between participants will be privileged and non-verbal languages will be implemented, with a view to non-formal and informal education (clowning, juggling, acrobatics, mime, masks, puppets and marionettes, puppet and street theater, etc.).
