Objectives

The project "Yes, we can! Respect, curiosity, and empathy for healthy relationships" promoted recognition, critical reflection, and the overcoming of sexist models, prejudices, and gender-related stereotypes by exploring the relational dynamics between women and men in different cultural contexts. The project pursued the following objectives: - A concrete proposal for changing socio-cultural and relational models was developed through a critical examination of prejudices, traditions, and practices based on stereotypical roles. This was embodied in the production of podcast episodes involving 24 young people and four international organizations. - New ways of relating were explored through interventions focused on highlighting the stories and actions of the women's movement fighting gender prejudice, through research and promotion of speeches published by role models and activists committed to promoting equality. - The sharing of good practices among the four international partners was promoted to guide young people from local communities in open discussion and the promotion of gender equality in everyday and professional contexts. - A campaign was carried out to raise awareness among the international community regarding the role each individual can play in promoting gender equality, through the dissemination of podcasts and the organization of a live broadcast on Instagram and Facebook.
