"Team up!" proposed training 21 youth workers to become community facilitators, as a first step towards creating a group of young volunteers active in rural communities. The project's long-term goal was to improve the quality of life of young people living in disadvantaged areas, thanks to the presence of youth workers with facilitation skills capable of building support networks in communities. The project achieved the following specific objectives: - the training of 21 youth workers living in seven European countries (Albania, Romania, Estonia, Croatia, Cyprus, Spain, Italy) and the exchange of practices among the seven partner associations, aimed at introducing the role of community facilitator in rural communities, as a guide for engaging teenagers and young adults in collaboration with local stakeholders; - the creation of a collection of games for use by those who have taken on the role of community facilitator; the collection included: a) a description of the games; b) ways to adapt the games based on the needs of specific young people living in a community; c) a guide for the facilitator on how to propose and lead the game; d) suggestions for reflection and evaluation of the activity; - the involvement of 84 adolescents and young adults living in the project's seven local and rural communities in participatory planning events and activities aimed at achieving shared objectives relevant to all stakeholders in the communities; - the creation of a Telegram platform that allowed learning, sharing, and exchanging solutions between physically distant entities facing the same problems, or whose skills and experiences were complementary for the implementation of joint projects.
