The project "Non-formal magic in youth work" seeks to help 24 youth workers in the process of learning and developing their competences in a non-formal learning environment over a 12-month period. The overarching goal is to empower youth workers with innovative, qualitative and suitable non-formal methods to enhance their effectiveness in working with young people. The specific objectives of the project, considering the identified needs through a thorough needs assessment process, are as follows: I. During the project the 24 youth workers will gain knowledge of at least 3 innovative non-formal educational methods, learning how to correctly facilitate it, demonstrated by successfully implementing these methods in at least 1 activity each. II. Within 12 months, 24 youth workers will improve their facilitation skills for non-formal methods by conducting needs assessments at least twice, using the findings to choose/ create and then implement at least 4 non-formal youth activities. III. By the end of the Training Course, 24 youth workers will demonstrate a more proactive approach in using non-formal methods in their daily work with youth, as evidenced by implementing at least 4 non-formal methods and reporting their impact on youth engagement and development. In summary, the project envisions equipping youth workers with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to employ innovative non-formal methods in their youth work practices. By addressing the identified needs, the project aims to contribute to the development of a more dynamic, inclusive and effective youth work environment that is responsive to the evolving needs of the youth in a rapidly changing world.
