The study visit **aMUSEd by Amalfi Coast – Inspiring practices for environmental sustainability and youth involvement** was implemented by ACARBIO within the Erasmus+ KA153-YOU – Mobility of Youth Workers programme, in Tramonti and across the Amalfi Coast from 2 to 10 May 2025. The activity involved youth workers, educators and environmental activists from partner organisations in Italy, Spain, Greece, Latvia, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia. The project was created to offer participants a space to step out of their usual professional contexts, exchange with other European experiences and find new inspiration to promote environmental sustainability and youth involvement. Tramonti and the Amalfi Coast were chosen not only as the hosting location, but as the real “muse” of the learning process: terraced landscapes, rural communities, schools, associations, youth groups, farmers and local initiatives became living examples to learn from. The main objective was to strengthen the competences and motivation of youth workers and educators in designing more meaningful, practical and youth-centred sustainability initiatives. A central focus was also dedicated to critical reflection on greenwashing and on how youth work can promote real behavioural change, going beyond superficial environmental messages. Through the project, participants were invited to discover local good practices, discuss their transferability, exchange tools and methods, build new professional connections and develop ideas for future cooperation within Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. The main topics addressed were Environment and climate change and Quality and innovation of youth work.
