Objectives

By implementing this project, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the mental health and well-being of young people. We believe that childhood and adolescence are crucial periods for developing the skills necessary for self-control, independence, and social interaction. Unfortunately, many young people today face overwhelming challenges related to mental health, often feeling disconnected from themselves, their peers, and nature. Our project seeks to change that. We want to create a supportive environment where youth can express themselves freely and creatively through movement, art, and nature. By integrating these elements into youth work practices, we hope to foster resilience and emotional stability among young people, helping them navigate the ups and downs of life more effectively. Objectives of the Project: Equip Youth Workers with Practical Tools: We want to provide youth workers with accessible and engaging methods that they can easily incorporate into their daily activities. By using movement and art, youth workers will have powerful tools at their disposal to support mental health prevention. Build Skills and Confidence: Our training will focus on developing the skills of youth workers, empowering them to design and implement activities that promote mental well-being. We want them to feel confident and equipped to tackle mental health challenges among the youth they serve. Foster Creativity and Self-Expression: We aim to create a space where young people can explore their creativity through art and movement. By encouraging them to express their thoughts and emotions, we hope to facilitate deeper self-awareness and understanding, allowing them to process their feelings in a healthy way. Reconnect with Nature: We believe in the healing power of nature. Our project will encourage youth to engage in nature-based activities that promote mindfulness and a sense of calm. By reconnecting with the natural world, young people can find solace and improve their overall well-being. Create a Community of Sharing and Learning: We want to establish a supportive network of youth workers from different countries, where they can share experiences, best practices, and effective strategies related to mental health prevention. This collaboration will enrich their understanding and help them implement more effective approaches in their own communities. Through these objectives, we aspire to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among young people, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in today’s world. Ultimately, our project aims to create a positive ripple effect, enhancing the mental health of individuals and communities alike.
