The "Spread Your Wings" project responded to the increase in mental health issues among European youth, highlighted in the EU Mental Health Communication 2023, and the need to strengthen youth workers' competences in supporting well-being, resilience and sense of belonging. The project objectives were: to train 24 youth workers from 6 countries (Italy, Spain, Romania, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Poland) through a 7-day mobility to become agents of cultural transformation through the eco-soulcentric approach based on Bill Plotkin's human development model; to provide expertise on innovative nature-based methodologies for professional growth and to support social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities; to provide concrete and accessible materials for youth workers; to inspire attitudes and motivation to build more human, inclusive and responsible communities; to broaden knowledge of the Erasmus+ programme and European mobility opportunities; to mentor two apprentices on the KA1 life-cycle; to improve youth work quality through the production of two digital materials.
