Our project aims to provide youth workers with advanced technical skills in the use of digital arts, such as graphic design, animation and video editing, in order to make non-formal educational activities more engaging, dynamic and relevant for young people. In the current context, characterised by rapid technological advancement and a strong presence of digital media in the daily life of young people, it is essential that youth workers are able to use these tools to facilitate communication and mutual understanding, bridging the generation gap and creating a more modern and accessible learning environment. Thanks to the integration of these skills, youth workers will be able to transform their educational approach, designing activities that use visual languages and technologies familiar to young people. This will make activities more interactive, stimulating creativity and direct involvement of participants. For example, skills acquired in the field of animation and video editing can be applied to create educational content that makes learning more attractive, such as the production of short videos explaining complex concepts or awareness-raising campaigns using interactive media. Graphic design, on the other hand, can be used to create visual materials that support the inclusion and active participation of young people, making the educational message more accessible. Another key objective of the project is the development of innovative methodologies that combine the use of digital arts with social issues. In this way, the project aims to promote social inclusion and active participation of young people, especially those who face economic, social or cultural barriers. Digital arts become powerful tools to address issues such as inclusion, identity, diversity and active citizenship, creating spaces where young people can express themselves freely, develop critical skills and actively participate in building more inclusive communities. Youth workers will be trained to use these techniques in order to promote the participation of young people who often struggle to find a voice in traditional contexts. The integration of digital arts allows to break down barriers that limit access to active participation, especially for young people with fewer opportunities, offering them tools to express their creativity and opinions, overcoming obstacles related to language or culture. One of the distinctive elements of the project is the creation of an international network of youth workers, which will facilitate the exchange of good practices, experiences and ideas between different countries. This network, formed during the course of the project activities, will allow continuous collaboration between the organizations involved, generating an impact that goes beyond the duration of the project itself. The intercultural exchange will allow operators to interact with different social and cultural realities, enriching their knowledge and skills and creating synergies that can lead to the birth of new joint projects and initiatives. To ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the project, educational resources accessible to all, such as video guides and multimedia content, will be developed and distributed. These materials, which will be created during the training, not only represent a valuable resource for trained youth workers, but can also be used by other youth organizations that wish to replicate the methodologies developed. The dissemination of these resources will be facilitated through digital platforms such as Salto-Youth, thus contributing to promoting educational innovation at European level and fostering the growth of a community of practice dedicated to the use of digital arts in youth work.
