Objectives

"Meet Your Team" aimed to equip international youth workers with the skills to become leaders of intercultural youth groups. This objective was achieved through the following specific objectives: O1. The organization and implementation of a 7-day youth worker mobility activity, involving 21 participants active both locally (in Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Greece, and Italy) and internationally, in the testing and application of methods, techniques, and tools to ensure engagement, well-being, and intercultural inclusion in youth mobility. O2. The sharing, development, and validation of practices to resolve potential problematic situations involving young people in mobility, within 7 partner organizations active locally and internationally: Elastic (Romania), APGA (Slovenia), Patos (Serbia), Mindful.nest (Czech Republic), Make it Happen (Cyprus), FOR.ME (Greece), and YOUth Connect (Italy). The practices were validated through the creation of a shared document called "Best Practices for Group Welfare." O3. The organization and implementation of seven local events, one in each community where the project partner organizations were active, involving seven local organizations and institutions (at least one per country) active in the inclusion of young people with migrant or refugee backgrounds. During the events, the youth workers participating in the project gathered best practices adopted by the organizations to promote inclusion and initiated long-term collaborations with these organizations. O4. The creation and international promotion of a checklist for group leaders, which provides specific guidelines on the actions needed to ensure a group of young people is fully prepared to participate in a mobility project.
