The project aims to achieve several strategic objectives to improve youth work practices, with a specific focus on enhancing digital skills and actively engaging young people through the innovative use of podcasts. The main objective is to create a practical and sustainable tool that enables youth workers to engage young people in a creative and interactive way, exploiting the potential of digital to promote social inclusion, civic participation and intercultural dialogue. One of the main aims of the project is to strengthen the digital skills of youth workers, so that they can integrate multimedia tools into their daily work with young people. This is crucial, as many youth organisations are faced with the challenge of engaging increasingly digital young people, but often lack the necessary technical skills to do so. Through training in technologies such as audio recording, editing and storytelling, youth workers will be able to create quality content, using podcasts as a means to give voice to young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. From the point of view of youth work practices, the project aims to promote a change in the approach used by partner organizations and participants, integrating new non-formal work methods that exploit technology as a tool for active participation. The use of podcasts, in fact, will not only be a way to transmit information, but will become an educational tool that encourages discussion and reflection on topics of interest to young people, such as human rights, European citizenship and sustainability. Furthermore, the project aims to strengthen intercultural dialogue, creating a bridge between young people from different European communities. Thanks to the transnational nature of the project, the podcasts produced by participants will reflect a variety of cultural perspectives, promoting respect for diversity and mutual understanding. This objective responds to the need to create more inclusive and cohesive societies, where young people can feel protagonists of social change. Finally, the project aims to ensure long-term sustainability in youth work practices, promoting the continuous use of podcasts as a working tool in the organizations involved. The intention is that youth workers will continue to use and develop these tools after the project ends, adapting them to the specific needs of their communities and generating a lasting impact.
