The project aims to strengthen youth workers' ability to address the unique challenges that arise from young people's intimate interactions online. The project will equip professionals with the expertise to understand and navigate these sensitive issues by focusing on the digital dimension of relationships. This approach will allow youth workers to connect more successfully with young people, promoting dialogues that support healthy online practices while addressing the challenges associated with internet communication in intimate relationships. In addition to enhancing knowledge, the project will offer practical tools and resources that youth workers can apply directly in their daily work. These resources will help professionals confidently guide young people through potential risks, such as online fraud, personal data theft, and intimate exposure. With these skills and tools, youth workers will be better prepared to create safer, more positive online environments where young people can learn how to engage in relationships with respect and caution. Objectives: Create a safe and open environment: Establish a secure and transparent atmosphere by encouraging open communication among young workers about the difficulties, requirements, and worries related to intimate relationships that arise online. We aim to help building mutual trust and understanding. Deconstruct harmful beliefs: Analyze critically and address damaging stories and assumptions about romantic and sexual relationships that are widely held by young people and youth workers. This will encourage people to adopt safer, healthier habits. Guide youth workers on online safety: Creation of useful resources and long-term non-formal educational tools, such a online handbook and videoguide, to inform and educate young people and youth workers about: -Identifying identity theft, personal data breaches, and online fraud. -Awareness of the dangers and repercussions of intimate internet exposure (such as sexting, image sharing, revenge porn, and artificial intelligence). -Putting preventative measures into place and being prepared to respond when faced with cyberthreats. -Raise awareness of risks of intimate exposure online: Equip youth workers with the skills to educate young people about the potential legal, social, and emotional risks tied to inappropriate or unsafe online behavior in intimate contexts, such as exploitation or cyberbullying.
