Through the project ‘CULTIVATING HUMANITY: CHALLENGES, TOOLS AND OPPORTUNITIES’, the non profit organization "Beyond what they sell-APS" aimed to raise awareness among the younger generations on issues of psycho-social relevance (e.g. gender equality, civil rights, fragile masculinity, civic and political participation), individual and community well-being, in order to increase their knowledge and skills, empowerment and active citizenship. The project also aimed to raise awareness of good practices for the promotion of equal opportunities implemented by various civil society realities (e.g. non-profit associations, organised citizens' groups, collectives) and institutions (e.g. at municipal level). Through the implementation of the project activities (a cycle of 8 online thematic meetings and 3 days of mobility in Vasto), it was intended to promote European values and culture, to strengthen the social network for the prevention of discrimination and the promotion of equity, to enrich the local social context, and to realise, together with the young participants, outputs that could be suitable for educational and social contexts at local, national and international level.
