MOTIVATION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT With the project "Dreamocracy" we want to realise a cross-border, intercultural project on youth participation that enables participants to demonstrate the characteristics and processes of a democracy in a simulation environment. The title YOUTHCRACY is a play on the word "democracy", with the people (demos) being replaced by the youth (YOUTH), i.e. the project participants. We aim to encourage young people, our participants, to take an active part in public life at local, national and European level after the project. In particular, we want to motivate them to take part in elections (local, national, and European), to inform themselves before voting, to vote responsibly and also to participate in public life - not only during election periods. We wish to motivate them to be responsible young European citizens.
