By implementing our project, we aimed to create a meaningful and lasting impact in the fight against violence against women, while also ensuring that young people become individuals who play an active role in social change. One of our primary goals was to raise awareness among young people by informing them about the causes, types, and consequences of violence against women. Through workshops, discussions, and creative activities, we aimed to help participants become more sensitive and aware of women's rights and prepare them to take responsibility in this area. Another important goal of our project was to encourage young people to take action. We wanted to empower them with knowledge, skills, and tools to engage in social activism and support them in undertaking initiatives that would make a difference in their communities. In this context, we aimed for young people to take concrete steps such as organizing awareness-raising activities, planning awareness events, and participating in advocacy work. We wanted to bring together young people from different countries to strengthen intercultural dialogue and cooperation. One of the key outcomes of our project was that participants shared their different perspectives, exchanged best practices, and learned from intercultural experiences. This diversity deepened young people's awareness of violence against women and increased their motivation to develop joint solutions. We also aimed to develop young people's lifelong learning skills. Competencies such as critical thinking, teamwork, communication, problem solving, and creativity were supported by the youth work methods we used throughout the project. This enabled participants to gain strong skills that they can use in both their personal and professional lives. Our project also aimed to incorporate a gender equality perspective into youth work. Participants, including those with limited opportunities and leaders, focused on analyzing gender inequalities and developing more inclusive and equitable practices. Through this approach, we aimed to create a more conscious, sensitive, and equitable working environment in the field of youth work. Finally, promoting peer education and community participation was also among our main objectives. Through project outputs such as brochures, social media content, and posts, we enabled young people to share what they learned with their own communities. In this way, we aimed to empower young people to become individuals who guide their peers, raise community awareness, and take active responsibility for preventing violence against women.
