The Navigate to Success project focuses on the development of youth workers and our partner organizations. It is designed to address the pressing issue of burnout among youth workers, a problem that has significantly worsened since the pandemic and ongoing geopolitical crises. Our primary goal is to support youth workers by building their resilience and providing them with the tools necessary to effectively manage stress, prevent burnout, and sustain their passion for youth work. We aim to improve the professional development of 33 youth workers (33% of whom face fewer opportunities) by equipping them with practical resilience-building techniques. This will enable them to maintain their well-being while balancing the multiple demands of their roles, such as mentoring, team leadership, and organizational management. This program is guided by the following objectives: - to support the professional development of 33 youth workers (33% facing fewer opportunities) by equipping them with resilience-building tools and methods to effectively prevent burnout; - to contribute to improving the overall quality of youth work by developing a toolkit on burnout management tools and strategies; - to strengthen the long-term sustainability and capacity of 8 NGOs; - to establish a supportive community among youth workers, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and exchange of tools and methods between the involved organizations; - to share burnout prevention and resilience practices through 7 dissemination events; - to spread the gained knowledge by writing 8 articles and creating 8 videos; - to evaluate the project through 32 Youthpasses & Questionnaires By focusing on resilience, well-being, and leadership development, Navigate to Success will not only benefit the participating youth workers but also strengthen their organizations and positively impact the young people they serve. Our project is a response to a growing concern in the youth work field, and we are committed to making a lasting difference by empowering youth workers to work effectively within their roles and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
