The "EcoPOWER" project aims to empower youth workers by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to advocate for sustainable energy policies and promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies in their communities. Recognizing the critical role that youth workers play in shaping the future, the project seeks to enhance their capacity to drive positive change in the energy sector and contribute to a more environmentally sustainable society. Objectives of "EcoPOWER": - Knowledge and Skill Enhancement: The project will provide youth workers with comprehensive training on energy policies, renewable energy technologies, and best practices. This will enable them to become well-informed advocates for sustainable energy solutions within their communities. - Advocacy and Policy Engagement: "EcoPOWER" will equip youth workers with advocacy skills and tools to effectively engage with policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders. The objective is to empower them to influence energy policies at local, regional, and national levels, contributing to the transition towards a more sustainable energy future. - Community Mobilization and Education: The project aims to enhance the ability of youth workers to engage and mobilize their communities towards sustainable energy practices. Through the development of educational resources, such as a handbook/manual on energy policies and renewables, participants will be better prepared to inspire and empower others to take action on sustainability. - Networking and Collaboration: "EcoPOWER" will foster networking and collaboration among youth workers from North Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, and Türkiye. The project will facilitate peer learning, exchange of best practices, and potential future collaborations, contributing to the overall development of youth work in the field of sustainability. By implementing the "EcoPOWER" project, we aim to create a lasting impact on the professional development of youth workers, enhance their ability to advocate for and implement sustainable energy practices, and ultimately contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
