Objectives

We want to carry out this project because we recognize the urgent need to address the issue of youth unemployment. Across partner countries of this project, young people are facing significant challenges in finding their first job or employment opportunities. As a result, they encounter barriers in integrating into the labor market and achieving personal and professional success. The main aim of our project is to strengthen the capacities of partner organizations by providing comprehensive training and learning opportunities focused on mechanisms and examples of good practices related to youth unemployment. By enhancing the specific skills of these professionals, particularly in youth workshops and career counseling, we aim to facilitate the application of acquired knowledge in their work with young people. Through this applied methodology, we seek to build the skills and competencies of young people, increase their employability, and empower them to make informed decisions about their future careers and life choices. OBJECTIVES of the project: ● Strengthen the capacities of partner organizations, youth workers and educators by providing training and resources focused on youth unemployment issues and best practices in career development. ● Enhance the specific skills of youth workers and educators in areas such as career counseling, soft skills training, and digital literacy, thereby enabling them to better assist young people in their career journeys. ● Equip youth workers with practical methods for career counseling, including resume building, cover letter writing, interview preparation, and skills assessment, to guide young people towards successful employment opportunities. ● Empower young people to make informed decisions about their futures by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to enhance their employability and integrate into the labor market successfully. ● Inspire and work on development of Toolkit with useful methods and tools youth workers can use. ● Integrate the objectives of the Erasmus+ program by fostering international cooperation, promoting the exchange of best practices, and enhancing the professional development of youth workers and educators through transnational mobility activities. Additionally, our project has a secondary goal of creating a practical manual with methods and tools derived from the training program. This manual will serve as a valuable resource for professionals to reference and apply in their work with young people, particularly high school students and other young individuals facing unemployment challenges. We plan to hold follow-up workshops to ensure the dissemination and application of these methods, fostering ongoing support and collaboration among youth workers across partner countries.
