It gave participants the opportunity to explore different cultures, exchange culinary traditions and recipes, and strengthen their sense of belonging to a wider European community. The youth exchange used cooking as a tool for learning. Activities focused on food preparation, cultural exchange, cooperation and collaborative workshops. Young people were encouraged to design and lead activities themselves, which supported their social inclusion, entrepreneurial mindset, and overall well-being. We created an environment where participants could communicate openly, work in teams, and take initiative. Throughout the project, youngsters actively contributed to the preparation, implementation, reflection, and evaluation of the activities. In this way, they developed competencies that are important both for everyday life and their professional future. Overall, the project contributed to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme by promoting social cohesion, strengthening European identity, and encouraging active citizenship. With the support of the partner organisations, the project also had a positive impact on the local communities and beyond.
