Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen the well-being and resilience of Deaf young people across Europe by creating a safe and accessible space where they could learn, share experiences and develop tools to support mental health within their communities. The objectives were threefold. First, to strengthen the Deaf youth community by encouraging participants to exchange strategies for creating supportive environments and addressing challenges such as isolation, stress and online bullying. Second, to promote resilience, enabling participants to explore coping mechanisms, practise stress-management skills and build confidence in supporting themselves and others. Third, the project aimed to raise awareness of digital well-being by focusing on the impact of social media, cyberbullying and the benefits of digital detoxing. Through non-formal education, peer learning and intercultural exchange, the project sought to empower Deaf youth to return home with increased awareness, tools and motivation to drive positive change in their local and national communities.
