With this project, Save the Children Netherlands and 15 youth ambassadors sought to stimulate the involvement of different groups of young people in decision-making processes on children's rights themes and equip decision-makers and policymakers to actively contribute to this. The project had two objectives: 1. Youth ambassadors organize activities in which different groups of young people, decision-makers and policymakers are brought together and enter into dialogue on children's rights themes; 2. The group of youth ambassadors has expanded, consists of young people from various backgrounds and realizes personal development through enhanced knowledge and skills for and by carrying out activities. An important aspect of the project was that the youth ambassadors shape the project activities themselves as much as possible.
