Objectives

The project aimed to achieve the following objectives: - strengthen emotional intelligence, self-expression, communication, stress management and social competences of young people aged 15–18, especially those facing social, educational or economic barriers; - develop and validate the “30 Days Art Challenge” Handbook, based on review, evaluation and adaptation of European best practices, as an inclusive, art-based and challenge-based educational resource for emotional and social development; - Equip youth workers with practical “Facilitator guide”, tested and transferable tools for creating emotionally supportive and creative learning environments; - increase the quality and innovation of youth work through the integration of non-formal education, art-based methods and structured assessment tools; - strengthen the capacity of partner organisations to cooperate transnationally, test educational solutions in different contexts and ensure sustainable use of project results.

Background

The project was initiated in response to the identified need to strengthen the quality and capacity of partner organisations in addressing social and emotional competences among young people aged 15–18, particularly in the areas of - emotional awareness, - self-expression, - communication, - stress management - relationship-building. The needs analysis indicated that insufficient emotional regulation and limited opportunities for safe self-expression may contribute, particularly among the most vulnerable young people, to: - social isolation, - lower mental well-being, - reduced participation in educational and peer environments, - weaker readiness for future professional pathways. The needs that were addressed in the project were: - Strengthening partners’ capacity for transnational, inclusive art-based youth education, based on best EU practices. - Equipping youth workers with tested tools for emotional and social support. - Supporting youth aged 15–18 through challenge-based art materials developing emotional intelligence.
