Out Of the Circle main focus is on the process of developing as an artist, where "journey" symbolizes the personal and creative development that young people undergo. It suggests that art is not just about the end result, but also about the experiences, lessons, and discoveries that young people make along the way. Each journey is unique, and the title emphasizes that every young person has their own path into the world of art, shaped by their individual interests, emotions, and perspectives. This may include learning various techniques, exploring different art forms, and building confidence through creative expression. Many deaf youth in Europe feel isolated and have fewer opportunities than others. That is why we are organizing an important exchange to provide young people with a safe space to explore their identity through theater. Theater helps shy youth build self-confidence and allows outgoing individuals to develop empathy. It is a place where the language and culture of deaf youth can flourish, giving them the opportunity to express themselves freely, share stories, and build community. With few theater platforms available for deaf individuals, it is crucial to give these young people the chance to experience the magic of theater, meet new friends, and develop skills that will be useful in both life and relationships with others. This project aligns with the goals of Erasmus+ for youth, focusing on personal development and self-confidence. Through theater, participants will not only develop new skills but also strengthen their belief in themselves. While we do not expect everyone to become professional actors, theater can open doors for those who wish to pursue a future in acting. With participants from six different countries, the youth will also have the opportunity to learn about various cultures and develop a broader understanding of society.
