The “E-Waste Warriors” project was jointly created by young people from Poland, Romania, and Hungary in response to the growing problem of electronic waste, as well as the interests and needs of the participants. Its main objective was to raise young people’s awareness of the issue of e-waste and to promote pro-ecological attitudes and innovative solutions in electronic waste management. The specific objectives of the project included: - expanding participants’ knowledge about the negative effects of improper e-waste management, including its impact on the environment and human health; - developing practical skills related to recycling and sustainable waste management; - increasing young people’s social engagement in ecological and civic initiatives; - raising public awareness of e-waste through educational, workshop-based, and international activities; - strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of good practices among young people from different countries. The implementation of the project enabled participants not only to gain knowledge and ecological competences, but also to develop teamwork, intercultural communication, and initiative skills, which will have a lasting impact both on their personal development and on the local communities they come from.
