Preventing early school leaving and failure in educationBridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divideInclusion of marginalised young people

Objectives

The coordinator from Poland will supervise all activities on site. The project "We want to act" is to encourage young people with fewer opportunities to take an active part - the OHP participants are the originators of the program. This group was involved in the development of the program, because they want to show partners what their education looks like and work together on thematic workshops that will reveal the secrets of the crafts that Polish participants learn. An important element of the project is the professional element of the workshops, drawing attention to various forms of education, acquiring a profession, knowledge, combating early school leaving and gaining and improving one's knowledge throughout life. Making young people aware of the principles of the functioning of the labor market, the requirements that apply there. The principles of how the labor market develops, what are the professions of the future. The issues of the project are also to draw attention to early school leaving by young people. Through joint work, discussion, talks about the labor market, its development, we will strive to reflect on the need for education, on the possibilities of development in specific crafts, on the demand for specialists. The classes are to make young people aware of the need to educate themselves, improve and supplement their knowledge throughout their lives. Smuggling into the workshops topics related to digital elements such as creating presentations, photo editing and taking them, as well as topics from food waste, recycling and using secondary materials, conscious waste sorting as a quiz during the workshops. Learning about the culture, traditions and history of the partners will be another important element. An additional goal will be for guardians and leaders to compare methods of education and work with difficult youth with fewer opportunities, to draw attention to educational and upbringing problems, to the problems that young people face today, how to react and notice disturbing symptoms in the behavior of young people. Participants will learn to cooperate with each other and with colleagues from another country, patience, empathy, tolerance and understanding different approaches to problems and ways to solve them, the rules of fair play. Supporting each other and explaining issues that will be discussed during the workshops. There will be an increase in language skills through participation in language animation exercises; an increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. Acquaintances will be established, relations with people from another country will be improved. There will be an increased interest in job opportunities in another country, professional mobility. The meeting will bring closer the knowledge of the environment and specificity of their region, participants will jointly discuss family values related to European cultural values of the community of nations. The goals will be achieved by spending time together actively. We want to achieve the goals: building intercultural dialogue by learning about the culture, history and tradition of the partner, activating young people with fewer opportunities, teaching tolerance and openness by building friendly relations between young people from Poland and the participating countries. Participants are interested in the culture of European countries. Leaders and guardians will draw attention to the importance of the EU and the opportunities that being Europeans creates for young people. Through the implementation of the program, we want to draw attention to: professional development, broadening interests, learning about other cultures, establishing contacts, raising the level of key competences and language skills, raising awareness of the importance of soft skills, developing good practices in the use of non-formal education forms. Raising awareness about not wasting food, recycling, waste segregation rules, labor market rules, personal development and thus the development of participants as individuals who have an impact on being conscious Europeans.
